This gallery highlights some of the tools and implements used centuries ago to prepare food and transfer it from fire to table and then from plate to mouth. The exhibit celebrates the culinary heritage of the Chinese and Koreans, the peoples along the Silk Road, the ancient Egyptians, and the Greeks and Romans of the Classical Age. The display includes objects that have been donated to the museum by the Arthur M. Sackler Foundation, New York.
