Food on the Move
The exhibit explores the traditions of feeding travelers on the seas, by rail, in the air and along the roadside over the last 150 years. Once a highlight of the trip, the culinary experience has been diminished by economics and competition. Revisit the glory days, when airlines served special holiday meals--at no extra charge, as well as the "bad old days," when rail passengers had twenty minutes to gobble down a meal at a trackside restaurant before the dining car joined the train.
